This documentary tells the harrowing story of Kathleen O’Brien Doyle, a 25-year-old Navy pilot’s wife who was brutally murdered inside her Norfolk home in September of 1980.
Kathleen’s case sat cold for nearly 40 years until 2019, when members of the Norfolk Police Department’s Cold Case Unit took a chance on a new investigative technique: genetic genealogy. The breakthrough led to the arrest of Dennis Lee Bowman and uncovered an unsettling pattern of violence that Bowman kept secret for decades.
