Stephanie Stringer, Volunteer Compassion & Choices VA
Stephanie’s undergraduate degree is in Social Work and her graduate degree is in Special Education. After teaching for a few years, she changed her career to Human Resources and worked at various hi-tech companies in both the Boston area and in Raleigh, NC. After 25+ years in this capacity, she and her husband retired to Norfolk in 2006.
Since 2019 she’s been an active volunteer for Compassion & Choices. Stephanie was also a local and national disaster volunteer for the Red Cros and past president of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Tidewater. She currently volunteers with the Tidewater Appalachian Trail Club leading hikes, bike rides and paddles in the Hampton Roads area.
