Intro to Orchestra

Learn About the String Orchestra Family

Put on your explorer hats and discover which instruments make up the string orchestra with members of the 8th Grade Hickory Middle School Orchestra! For grades 1-5, registration required.

Members of the 8th Grade Hickory Middle School Orchestra will come to share their instrument sizes in person. Discover instrument size, sound, and hear how a performing orchestra sounds. Attendees will also have an opportunity to see and touch the instruments for a short instrument petting zoo!
