Open AreaMaster crochet basics! Beginners will learn new techniques each week building the skills needed for our intermediate projects! July's intermediate project: Summer Shawl.
Whether you’re brand new to crochet or already comfortable with the basics, this class is designed to meet you where you are. No experience is needed! Beginners will be provided with all the supplies and guidance they need to get started, while intermediate crocheters will enjoy working on a fresh new project each month.
What you’ll learn:
- How to hold a crochet hook and yarn
- Basic stitches: chain, single, double, and treble crochet
- How to read simple patterns and diagrams
- Color changes, joining techniques, and finishing touches
Perfect for:
- Beginners, hobbyists, and anyone who loves yarn and creativity!
Beginner Supplies Provided:
- 5.5mm crochet hook, worsted weight acrylic yarn, scissors, and a tapestry needle.
Intermediate Project:
- PROVIDED: 4.5mm - 6.5mm crochet hook, summer shawl pattern, scissors, and a tapestry needle.
- SUPPLY YOUR OWN: 1000-1200 yards of cotton yarn in your favorite color(s).
