Whether you're brand new to crochet or looking to refresh your skills, First Stitches is the perfect place to start. This beginner-friendly, 12-week series focuses on mastering the basics of crochet—one stitch, one square at a time.
Each week, you'll learn a new granny square pattern that introduces a different technique or stitch. By the end of 12-weeks, you’ll have a beautiful collection of unique squares and the confidence to tackle larger projects on your own!
What you’ll learn:
- How to hold a crochet hook and yarn
- Basic stitches like chain, single, double, and treble crochet
- Reading simple patterns and diagrams
- Color changes, joining techniques, and finishing touches
Perfect for:
- Beginners, hobbyists, and anyone who loves yarn and creativity!
Supplies provided:
- 5.5mm crochet hook, worsted weight acrylic yarn, scissors, and tapestry needle.
Recommended Supplies:
- Worsted weight yarn in your favorite color(s).
